Thank you very much for proposing this legislation. I am a Toronto resident that firmly supports it. My experience with the Toronto council is that they did not appropriately do their legal diligence to explore the impact of these bike lanes on those with physical mobility issues. I raised the issue with my councillor and the information I received back was a report based on highly biased and unscientific questionnaire data. The bike lanes make getting around the city extremely difficult and are mostly used by unlicensed electric vehicles which seem to make them unsafe for some bicyclers. I have been considering moving because of these bike lanes and the Council that insists on spending their time and my money making more of them. Thank you again for acknowledging the issue, listening to your constituents and taking action.
