This is an obvious and ridiculous provincial overreach founded on Doug Ford’s individual election interests - not the interests of people living in Ontario and most certainly not the interests of people living in Toronto. Reducing bike lanes will move Ontario backwards and increase our dependence on private transportation instead of public infrastructure. It will simultaneously decrease interest in sustainable transit options like cycling while increasing cyclist fatalities. It is a lose for everyone but Doug Ford. Is this how government is supposed to work?
