We need to be encouraging…

We need to be encouraging bike lanes and transit that doesn't rely on inefficient personal ownership of cars and trucks. Bike lanes make it more viable to forego automobile ownership and ride a bike where you need to go, especially in an urban environment as dense as Toronto. The more lanes we add to arterial city streets, the more cars will choke them, and the more non-renewable fossil fuels will be burned.

The more protected bike lanes that exist in this province, the better. Removing them for any reason is an affront to everything the citizens of Ontario have done to forestall global warming.
