How can our fair city promote safety when (I can't tell you HOW MANY TIMES) we've had an elderly friend in our car, sitting at full stop, southbound or northbound on Yonge St, while fire trucks and ambulances vainly tried to access a building in the opposite lane?
Unable to get over the cycling lanes completely, these emergency vehicles bring all vehicular traffic to a full stop behind them. Who's winning at this?
