Saving who time? Not the hard working cycling commuters of Toronto who cannot afford a car and rely on the safety of bike lanes! Why spend money removing the safety of human beings?! On bike lanes that the city is already used to. Not to mention the benefit to businesses on said bike lines. This is pandering to those who do not live in a city with bike lanes and dismissing the lives of many Canadians who depend on bikes as their main modes of transportation.
