I think this bill is irresponsible. It’s a waste of time and money. People are already using the bike lanes! Additionally this oversteps the autonomy of municipalities in a revenge filled vendetta against Toronto which doesn’t even support research on traffic. More people on bikes means fewer people in cars.
On top of that, there are already plenty of incomplete provincial solutions to traffic, so removing access is pointless and painful.
Removing environmental assessments could increase flooding and it spits in the face of indigenous communities by further removing their history.
Do not do this.
