Municipal By-Laws and Bicycle Lanes
I don't think it is the best use of the provincial governments resources to micromanage all roads in Ontario. Decisions about bike lanes on local roads are best made by local governments, who understand the need of their municipalities. This change in regulation will only increase bureaucracy, thus increasing cost, which in the end must be paid for by an already overburdened Ontario taxpayer. I therefore urge you to repeal this proposed change to the Highway Traffic Act.
