I’m appalled that in this time of climate crisis our government is seeking to make it more difficult to implement infrastructure that would encourage alternative modes of transportation. This law would add friction, instead of reducing it, for people to choose alternatives to driving cars.
I’m also disappointed the Ontario government is seeking to micromanage municipalities, especially as it claims to be against ‘big government’. Let the municipalities determine the best approach for their own constituents.
