Removing a regions ability to create bike lines and adding more bureaucracy and red tape to these efforts is terrible! Cars have been prioritized since the beginning of time. The city has been designed for them and every good planner knows there is NO way to keep up with the infrastructure with the number of cars on the road. The best thing a city can do is try to encourage alternate forms of transportation. Having bike lanes WILL help with traffic as more people get comfortable with the idea of bike commuting.
Don’t build policies for drivers! This is not the way to a brighter future.
