I think this is dangerous. Most people who live in Toronto use bike lanes and it does speed up traffic with taking cars off the road. I often see bikes lanes packed downtown. If people complain like drives those are people who don’t live downtown. If you really want to ease congestion take parking off major streets. I often walk down Dundas, Landsdowne, Queen and if the parking was removed you would have a whole other lane. That would speed up traffic way more than just taking out bike lanes.
