The proposed legislation to remove Toronto bike lanes is an undemocratic insult to the residents of Toronto.
The Ford government has provided no data that proves it will improve traffic times, nor evidence of popular support for this initiative.
It will only cost the taxpayers more money to pay for their removal, cause construction related traffic, and endanger cyclists.
The provincial government should focus on issues that affect all residents of Ontario, instead of just one city, such as improving access to healthcare, more support for children in our public schools, and affordable housing.
