There are too many cars in cities including Toronto as-is. You should not be removing bike lanes to add car lanes. You are discouraging bike use and encouraging car use. This will add to the car traffic of our cities.
Let our cities govern our cities, including the decision to add bike lanes instead of adding red tape requiring cities to get provincial approval for bike lanes.
To fight gridlock, you need to give Ontarians the opportunity to use alternative modes of transportation that are not cars. Cars are inefficient. Our roads and highways are wide enough.
I don't believe and I disagree that this act will save Ontarians time.
