Please do not remove the bike lanes in Toronto.
It is discriminatory as not everyone can afford a car but more people can afford bikes.
Removing bike lanes will endanger cyclists as well as pedestrians as the bike lanes provide a buffer between pedestrians and car lanes.
Also for the sake of the planet we need to encourage fewer cars and more eco friendly means of transportation.
Toronto car traffic is very hectic and encouraging people to use different means of transport such as bikes will help reduce congestion.
