Nike lanes are important infrastructure that fight climate change, reduce traffic, increase user health, and contribute to the bustling, tourist-friendliness of our cities.
Removing them is not only anti-democratic (as bike lanes were a LARGE part of the discourse around the last Toronto municipal election) and anti-science, but it's anti-social and anti-people.
The fact that the province is so casually considering removing them against the express wishes, and investments, of municipalities is a disgusting overreach. You should feel ashamed, but it no seems that you're unable to even feel that anymore.
