This is a terrible idea that flies in the face of all evidence about traffic congestion, safety, and climate impact. We need a proper city-wide bike lane network so that people can actually feel safe cycling instead of a patchwork of safe segments with deadly shared-road transitions in between. We desperately need to be adding bike lanes, not removing the ones already in place.
