I don't support this proposal. We need to be forward looking and support individual wrll-being (physical and mental health) and climate risks/environmental sustainability efforts by encouraging people to cycle as a form of commute! To do this, we should be increasing the number of bike lanes -- not reducing them. Rather than opening up the roads to more private vehicle usage, the government should think of improving public transportation options and strong and safe infrastructure that is environmentally sustainable long-term.
