This is outrageous. The Province should absolutely not remove these existing bike lanes and should be supporting, rather than hindering, the development of more cycling infrastructure. The research on transportation demand management is clear: more lanes of traffic does not reduce congestion. Getting people out of their cars is essential and we need cycling infrastructure in order to ensure riders of all ages and abilities are kept safe. Stop this waste of public resources. Keep the lanes.
