Last weekend, my husband and I drove up to our cottage in Muskoka. The traffic congestion on Dundas West, Caledonia, Black Creek Drive and the 400 was astounding. I look forward to the removal of those routes bike lanes. Wait - there aren't bike lanes on any of those streets/highways.
Seriously, the waste of taxpayer dollars and the congestion arising from removing current bike lanes are infuriating. This is such a blatant ruse to detract from serious problems that I feel ashamed to be associated with a province with such a stupid government.
I get it. Doug Ford didn't get to be mayor, but the mature thing to do is to accept that and not try to continually punish those who live in the city and enjoy its excellent infrastructure, like bike lanes.
