The government of Ontario needs to stop micromanaging Toronto, its policies and infrastructure. These bike lanes were implemented after research, community consultation and reflect the needs and interests of the city of Toronto. I use the Bloor and university bike lanes to commute to work and appreciate their space to protect my safety.
I will not support this government’s short sightedness on wasting government money on things that are not within its purview. Let the city of Toronto manage itself. The provincial government should be focused on broader issues like health care.
