This is a terrible idea, let's go back in time and favour vehicular traffic over all else. This will put cyclists, who put very little strain on infrastructure into unsafe conditions yet again. This city needs to move into the 21 century along with everyone else. There is a reason why European cities work--they don't pander to the resource consuming sector of society. This is a terrible idea!
