Spending additional money to undo government work is a poor use of funds at best.
Furthermore those funds come from communities across the province and are all directed towards a single city, without conclusive evidence that the actions taken will actually alleviate traffic. It is ridiculous.
The government should be focusing on delivering the transit they have promised for a decade and expanding the existing transit to alleviate traffic.
Spending provincial funds to endanger the lives of bikers so that traffic might get better is a gross use of taxpayer money.
