Since the Bloor bicycle lanes went in, Google maps almost always suggests Bloor as the fastest cross town route between Bloor west and Danforth Avenue. Before the bike lanes went in this was never a suggested route.

Traffic throughout the city has become more congested due to more cars and horrendous public transit funding. Removing bike lanes to speed up traffic is like doing away with ambulances to improve health care.
