I rely on major bike lanes to get around Toronto for work and recreation. It saves money and is better for the environment. If there are no bike lanes I will bike on the road, slowing down traffic. Bike use is very popular in Toronto and I would like to continue using bike lanes on major roads for safety. Adding traffic lanes does not improve commutes as studies show.
