Bike lanes are an integral part of reducing congestion and improving the health of our transportation system. Costly construction will only cost taxpayers time and money and will make traffic worse in both the short-term, and long-term. If the goal is reducing congestion, promoting public transportation through dedicated bus and bike lanes, increasing funding for new and more consistent lines, and information accessibility regarding available transportation is much more effective.
