Removing existing bike lanes would have a terrible impact on the neighbourhoods involved. The traffic calming effects benefit cyclists and pedestrians alike. Removing bike lanes will result in deaths and injuries.
The data suggests that congestion will NOT be alleviated. The cost of removing bike lanes will be millions of dollars and the lives and security of cyclists and pedestrians.
