Please educate yourselves by watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FZDEehlaC4 or google countless positive studies about the benefits of bike lanes.
I have an issue about the Province saying it will review the environmental impacts of removing these bike lanes, yet they are also exempt from an Environmental Assessment. That legislation and process are in place for a reason, and to exclude that from an already unnecessary process (removing bike lanes) is unsustainable and bad planning.
Please listen to the public. This is not a Provincial issue. The bike lanes in Toronto are a community-level issue that should be resolved at the municipal level.
Stay in your lane, Doug.
Pun intended.
