As primarily a driver, I oppose the Ford government's plan to remove bike lanes and require consultation for all municipalities. I prefer to have bikes separated safely from motor vehicles. I highly doubt this will reduce travel times and feel that some of the studies were cherry picked to push a narrative. I also don't understand why the provincial government is sticking it's nose into the business of all municipalities on the issue of bike lanes. I feel like Ford has overstepped again and I'm not sure why this is the tipping point since I primarily drive, but Ill never vote for this party again.
