Decisions on how local roads are used by communities should be left in the hands on municipalities, not the provincial government.
This bill gives us less options for transportation and pushes residents to require a personal automobile in order to live in our urban centres. With our eyes on climate change and affordability, we need to be considering how we can reduce our dependencies on cars and automobile infrastructure by allowing cities to make alternative modes of transport more viable.
In summary, I do not agree with this bill.
