The government of Ontario should not be adding red tape and bureaucracy to limit transportation options for the people of Ontario. Bike lanes have significant cost-saving, environmental, and public health benefits that would be destroyed along with their removal. We need the opportunity to create more bike infrastructure and connectivity to incentivize people to feel safe to use their bikes. The fact that some bike lanes aren't used yet is not because people don't want to, it's because they're poorly connected to other bike lines, such that people have to risk their lives to bike in car lanes.
