As a frequent biker who lives in Toronto, I find this proposal very poorly thought out. This will make commuting much harder for many Toronto residents and greatly increase injuries to both bikers and pedestrians. Reducing bike lanes will not reduce the number of bikers, but it will make biking less safe. Moreover, the urban infrastructure of the city of Toronto should be under the purview of the city itself and not the province.
