This is obviously bad policy. Basically every congestion study shows that cars are the most inefficient form of transport - reduce traffic by reducing cars. It will only create more traffic and gridlock and push more cyclists onto the roads slowing cars. As a Toronto rate payer, the Province should at least compensates the city for all the money it invested in these bike lanes.
