The Ontario government should avoid imposing unnecessary red tape and bureaucracy that slow down local governments' efforts to improve transportation options. Not everyone owns a car, can afford one, or is able to drive. Instead of prioritizing car-centric infrastructure—which is often inefficient—we should focus on expanding and enhancing public transportation systems to meet the diverse needs of all residents.
