The Provincial government should not have any jurisdiction over Municipal roads and how they are used.
Moreover, bike lanes help traffic, keep cyclists alive and are a cleaner alternative to already at-capacity automotive commuting. Not everyone in the city has the ability to own a car, not everyone is of legal age to drive
We should be encouraging cycling but this bill proposes to do the opposite.
