This is an incredibly disappointing proposal.
The province has no business evaluating a municipality's infrastructural needs and will only slow down a city's ability to improve infrastructure for its residents regardless of how they commute.
Additionally it will cost both our cities' and provincial governments more resources to implement needed infrastructural changes.
Encouraging more car traffic, and hindering alternative transit methods, is not the path forward to a more sustainable, safer, future.
