This bill is a sham and has no place in municipal affairs. The introduction and expansion of the bike lanes have done so much good for the residents of downtown. It has greatly reduced the reliance on motor vehicles. It has reduced the amount of residential car parking within new developments, in part to bike lanes and accessible transit options. Stop deflecting from the actual cause of congestion, which is the glacial move to improving public transit into downtown. If you start tearing up bike lanes we are going to regress twenty years in our infrastructure and housing problems.
