This legislation goes against the goal reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which drive climate change, by providing taxpayers with safe alternative green methods of transportation for commuting.
Removal of bike lines makes cycling less, meaning cyclists are more likely to commute via transitional cars, which will inherently increase greenhouse gas emissions and increase the traffic congestion this legislation attempts to reduce.
