This is an incredibly short-sighted move for the future of Toronto and a disgustingly irresponsible waste of my tax dollars. Were throughput statistics at all considered in the making of this proposal or is this yet another move from the Doug Ford administration to pander to car-brained suburbanites? Assuming he’s actually trying to appeal to the greater good for once, I’d be happy to get out the crayons and explain to him the differences between a Schwinn and a Cadillac Escalade when it comes to safely and efficiently transporting millions of people (and growing fast) in a finite amount of space.
