People who use bikes have a right to use streets and be protected from cars. This bill is government overreach since it's the jurisdiction of municipalities not the provincial government. The funds allocated to demolish the necessary bike lane infrastructure could be better used to invest in public transit, which the data shows reduces traffic. We wants facts based governance, not one based on sensationalization and marginalization of road users.
