I believe that if any native species of the waterway being fished is used, or is not a direct threat to the well being of the waterway(s); should be more than acceptable for use. Ontario is sadly so far behind the times of baitfish management that it is too late for virtually all southern lakes. I believe money should now be spent in rehabilitation instead of making changes to a already flawed ecosystem.
