According to studies, implementing this plan will:
- Cost $75 million in direct costs and sunk costs.
- Make traffic much, much worse for at least nine months during construction to remove lanes
- Have minimal long-term impact on car travel times.
Who is paying for this? Does anyone really think this is a good idea and a good use of taxpayers’ money? This is simply a terrible idea all around.
