This bill is detrimental to the encouragement of people to use non motorized transportation. It has been proven that removal of bike lanes increases the the amount of traffic rather than reducing it. It should never been the mandate of the provincial government to control municipal bike lanes and cities should be free to promote non-motorized transportation without having to navigate provincial interference and backwards thinking.
