I do *not* support this bill. At a time when we're facing increased congestion, global warming from carbon emissions, and a need for affordable transportation (i.e. biking) -- this seems like a backwards step. There are plenty of studies that show that increasing lanes of car traffic will *not* decrease congestion. It will only encourage more folks that use bikes to change to cars because it decreases the safety of other modes. As an Ontario resident in Toronto, I urge you to not pass this bill.
