I am concerned with the removal of bike lanes and would advise against it as everything I've seen in the media (globe and mail, toronto star, cbc , tiktok influencers) suggests that this will not stop gridlock, it will cost money and put the lives of cyclists at risk. I suspect more people will bring their cars to downtown too if that's the message that downtown is more car friendly. This is a waste of time and resources, please focus your energies on more pressing government priorities ( dealing with homelessness comes to mind)
