Dear Premier Ford,
I strongly oppose the removal of bike lanes and urge you to keep bike lane planning in the hands of local governments. Municipalities understand the unique needs of their communities and are best positioned to make decisions that prioritize safety, sustainability, and accessibility.
Bike lanes are vital for promoting safe cycling, reducing traffic congestion, and encouraging greener, healthier transportation choices. Removing them not only endangers cyclists but undermines local efforts to build livable, forward-thinking communities. I urge you to respect local autonomy and support the continued development of bike infrastructure across Ontario.
