I deplore the fact that the province is seeking to override decisions made at a community level, in the best interests of the community.
My husband and I live in mid-town Toronto and used to drive to work prior to the pandemic. Since returning to the office, we have both been biking and use the bike lanes on Bloor and University on a daily basis. If this coming winter is anything like last, we will be able to bike through most of the winter. Removal of the bike lanes will send us back into our car. A shame.
