I mostly have questions.
- Why is the Provincial government getting involved in municipal issues?
- How would they feel if the Federal government was getting involved in provincial jurisdiction?
- How can they also force the removal of bike lanes. Wouldn't that just move the bottleneck closer to the downtown core?
- Can the streets further down support the increased traffic?
- Isn't the municipality in a better position to know what changes can and should be done for traffic flow?
And yes I understand there might be "gridlock" in some places, but that should encourage users to take public transit or to find alternative ways to get to and from their destinations.
