Bike lanes are vital infrastructure in our cities, especially Toronto where I live. I use bike lanes and without them do not feel safe. I also strongly believe that having bike lanes reduces traffic congestion. I use multiple forms of transportation including TTC, bike lanes and cars. Why are we making a smart solution ie bike lanes into a political partisan issue? And provinical politicians should stay out of municipalities and let them decide what's best. This is over reach through and through!
I'm also deeply concerned about the proposed highway 413. Destroying more farm land is short sighted and frankly frightening. Have we not already experienced the precarity of disrupted food supply chains and high grocery prices. We rely on farmers and farm land for FOOD.
