I am a conservative voter and cyclist, this Bill makes no sense to me. It comes at a significant cost to the taxpayer and increases risk to the thousands of people who use alternative modes of transportation to get around the city.
It takes me 20mins to bike to work vs 40mins to drive. This is not because of bike lanes.
Worldclass cities limit auto traffic because they invest in transit. They also don't have as many in flight construction projects along major arteries.
Please focus on the real issues affecting our province - such as homelessness and getting the Eglington LRT up and running.
