I oppose removing bike lanes that provide an alternative form of transportation to cars, which is more affordable, improves physical health, and environmentally friendly. As a University of Toronto alumni and now resident living and working in the city, bike lanes provide a safe route for cyclists and biking is a great way to get exercise, enjoy the city, and as a form of transport that doesn’t cause traffic and can be more efficient than transit. Removing bike lanes is not the solution to the gridlock of the city
