I am a sixty-two year old female who cycles 8 months of the year for my adult teaching work, shopping, and running errands. I live off Bloor Street West and I use the cycling lane almost daily. I use cycling not only to help decrease pollution, but also to alleviate traffic and to support my heath. This keeps me active and saves taxpayers money in the long run. If I lose my safe way to cycle via protected biking lanes, I will be forced to drive everywhere, adding my car to the gridlock. I am sure I am not the only one in this situation.
